As an effort to raise awareness on the shortage of teaching materials in the school system, a group of students were tasked with creating a piece of artwork from unwanted office supplies in a vacant display window downtown. This project hopes to demonstrate the value of donated supplies and everyday materials as vital tools that promote creativity and problem solving across all subjects; inside every classroom. (bk)

I usually have mixed feelings about competitions, but I am glad to have won these because they were really fun pieces to work on and were truly a labor of love.
